This month we are encouraging everyone to adopt healthier lifestyle choices by cutting out sugary drinks for the rest of the month.
Did you know: Slow release items, such as a banana or a bowl of porridge in the morning provide a more effective and healthier start to the day than so-called ‘energy’ drinks, which are simply packed full of sugar.
Fact: Almost 80% of fizzy drinks contain 6 or more teaspoons of sugar per can. Multiply that amount of sugar for the number of fizzy pop drinks consumed per day, everyday – and that adds up to a staggeringly unhealthy level of sugar consumption.
